William Sangwook Chun
Managing Director
William has gained extensive business experience in his professional career spanning more than 30 years. Prior to founding ILC Associates, William was CEO of Nemo Partners ILC, an affiliate consulting firm of Nemo Partners Group, that specialized in Infrastructure, Land Development and Consulting.
In his early years, he built up solid business foundation as a management consultant before he moved to LG, a major Korean business group, where he advanced rapidly through the ranks working at various joint ventures of LG and at LG Chairman’s Office. While at LG, he obtained first-hand experience in sales and marketing, change management, strategic alliance and investment management as an internal consultant and a fast-track executive.
After LG, William led and advised various land development projects as a consultant as well as an entrepreneur. His portfolio of land development space includes major destination resorts, industrial parks, urban entertainment centers and the new city development.
By living, studying and working in Korea, Japan and the USA, William has attained rich insight into different cultures. He studied at St. Mary’s International School in Japan, received his B.E in Architecture & Urban Engineering at Seoul National University, and Master of Planning with focus on Economic Development at the Graduate School of Regional & City Planning at UC Berkeley.
Raphaella (Rafa) Yeom
Rafa began her career at Development Bank of Singapore (currently DBS Bank) quickly moving on to journalism by joining The Financial Times as an economic reporter. She then continued on to the Reuters News Agency to cover Korean business and economic news as Senior Correspondent. She later made a career switch from journalism to investment banking, working for both Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse.
Raphaella received her BA degree in English Literature from Ewha Women’s University. She completed financial training courses at Reuters and coursework for the her MBA from Sogang University.
Michael Jeon
Michael focuses on consulting and research in environment, renewable energy and supply chain management. Prior to joining ILC Associates, Michael was at Nemo Partners Consulting Group, where he helped advise on major acquisitions and strategic alliance across FMCF, service, and entertainment sectors.
Michael studied Industrial & Management Engineering at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and was a post-graduate research fellow at Environment Science Lab of Graduate School of Sejong University.
